Sandy Wilson – Chief
Executive
|
 |
Sandy Wilson is the founder
and Chief Executive of Consulting
Ltd.
Sandy started her
career over 30 years
ago with Rank Xerox where she was involved in Personnel
on
a generalist basis. She went on to work in merchant
banking and then specialised in recruitment with
a Cambridge consultancy. Following the birth of
her two children she entered education and eventually
became the Head of Computer Studies Department
which
involved setting up a business unit, training and
recruiting teachers, implementing protocols, designing
and delivering programmes for all ages encompassing
a wide range of skill needs. |
This Department
became the main source of income for the College.
She was then headhunted by Marconi to go back into
industry where she set up a specialist unit and developed
programmes for management.
In 1989 she
set up her own consultancy. This has grown year
on year, now having a substantial track record in
both
public and private sectors. Sandy has grown and
developed the business to a level where turning into
a limited
company became the next obvious move and was completed
in 1998. During the life of the company, Sandy
has been directly involved in delivering many of
the
projects, primarily focusing on Executive Development,
Performance Management and, more recently, Career
Management with organisations such as Nokia, SGS
Limited, Solcorp (a Division of EDS) and British
Nuclear Fuels Ltd.
Sandy is a qualified teacher of Adults
and a member of CIPD and a member of the Surrey
University Coaching Faculty. She holds the Advanced Diploma
in Coaching and Mentoring awarded by the much acclaimed
Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring. She is also
an ‘Investors in People’ accredited Assessor
and Advisor.
